The 180 °C hot air sterilization can be relied upon to kill bacteria and spores as necessary.

CB series models also feature a CO₂ sensor that can be sterilized with hot air, while the proven APT.line™ air jacket system and Permadry technology eliminate the risk of condensation inside the incubator.

With the BINDER CO₂ incubators, homogeneous gas distribution and quick mixing by the gas mixing head with Venturi effect ensure steady pH values. Responsive measurement without drift and the CO₂ measurement system itself with its infrared sensor technology also play a part in keeping the pH values constant at all times.

BINDER CO₂ incubators are available in a range of different versions. The CB-S series is ideal for all standard applications in the laboratory, while the CB series has been designed with delicate cell cultures in mind in particular.

All models are easy to clean thanks to the deep-drawn stainless steel inner chamber and the rounded corners in the interior. Fixtures such as fans, air baffle plates, and filters have been omitted deliberately, staying true to the BINDER motto – less is more. The well-thought-out design allows for ideal culture conditions to be provided and contamination to be avoided reliably inside the CO₂ incubator, while allowing for high levels of usability and ease of cleaning.
