Waldner MobilAir mobile fume cupboard

The Waldner MobilAir mobile fume cupboard offers a flexible extraction solution for laboratory applications that do not require a large, permanently installed fume cupboard. The unit is available in both filtered recirculating-air and building-extraction-system versions.

The recirculating-air version operates with an integrated fan and a filter selected for the specific application, allowing it to be used at different workstations provided that a suitable electrical connection is available. The extract-air version connects to the laboratory’s central ventilation system.

Flexible and Convenient Operation

• Compact design that can be positioned as required
• Vertically moving front sash
• Transparent Plexiglas side panels
• Glare-free internal lighting that can be switched externally
• External electrical sockets
• Optional airflow monitoring

Filtration Selected for the Application

• Activated-carbon gas filter for organic gases, vapours and odours
• Combined activated-carbon and H13 HEPA filter for gases, vapours and particles
• H13 HEPA particle filter for dust and aerosols
• Alternative version for connection to the laboratory’s central extraction system

The appropriate filter must be selected according to the substances used, the contaminants generated and the work process.

The MobilAir must not be used for open chemical digestion processes and does not replace a permanently installed fume cupboard compliant with EN 14175. Before selecting the appropriate version and filter type, the substances used and the conditions of the application must always be assessed.
