ISF1-Z incubator shaker - the perfect solution for shaken cultivation processes
The ISF1-Z incubator shaker is suitable for applications in laboratories, research centers and production facilities. The ISF1-Z complies with GMP (good manufacturing practice) requirements and regulations. It offers a large shaking capacity with a small footprint and many features allowing straightforward, safe handling of any culture or product. The incubator shaker is applicable for microbial, plant, human and animal cell cultures.

ISF1-Z Models
• The ISF1-Z incubator shaker is available in three different models: ISF1-Z, ISF1-Z EcoDew and ISF1-Z Peltier. Each model provides distinct features and is additionally available with CO2 control for cell culture processes.
• The ISF1-Z is the basic version of Kuhners stackable incubator shaker with temperature control (heating).
100% stainless steel for easy cleaning
• The ISF1-Z is available in a 100% stainless steel finish. It can either be painted white or have a processed stainless steel look. Take a look at the video to see the advantages of having stainless steel inside and outside the shaker.
Quality
• The improved maintenance-free direct drive of the ISF1-Z is stronger, offers higher shaking frequencies and has a longer lifespan than ever. It guarantees accurate control and low energy consumption/heat dissipation even at high speeds. Kuhner’s direct drive system and the newly designed shaking table allows the shaking diameter to be changed at any time – quickly and easily. Different fixed shaking diameters (3, 6, 9, 12.5, 19, 25, 50, 70 mm) are adjustable. And even a stepless adjustment is available as an option.

Hygienic design
• The ISF1-Z is made of stainless steel inside and outside for easy and fast cleaning. The hygienic design complies with GMP requirements. The interior was designed according to DIN EN ISO 14159. It has rounded corners and a drain at the back for quick removal of any unwanted liquids. The direct drive system is completely covered and therefore protected from spills. The incubator chamber can be cleaned with chemicals or sterilized using optional UV lighting.
A system that grows with your needs
• Up to three ISF1-Z incubators can be stacked providing more shaking capacity without taking up more floor space in the lab. Stacking is a simple procedure without the need for special tools or stacking kits. Each machine operates independently. The ISF1-Z incubator shakers are mixable in stack with ISF1-X/W incubators.
Options, accessories, and more
• Numerous options and accessories are available for the ISF1-Z incubator shaker to fulfill any need of our customers regarding cultivations in shaken bioreactors. Moreover, all accessories are interchangeable between the new ISF1-Z incubators and its predecessors ISF1-X/W. The ISF1-Z offers even more interior space than its predecessor ISF1-X, e.g. to accommodate particularly big shake flasks. The ISF1-Z has clearly arranged displays on the front side (e.g. for shaking speed) with color change and an acoustic signal when an error/alarm occurs.
• Additionally, a fix or a tilting touchscreen version with our Kuhner Insight software is available. Serial interfaces (e.g. CAN) are arranged on the front side and the sensors in the inside are also easily accessible for a fast and comfortable work flow. The interior LED light is a color neutral light with low energy dissipation.

Kühner LT-X incubator shaker

The Kuhner LT-X (Lab-Therm) incubator shaker has the same capabilities as the larger ISF1-X and ISF4-X models. The incubator shaker was specially developed to address the shaking needs of the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. The practical size of the LT-X means it will fit in any laboratory.

Kühner ISF4-X incubator shaker
Large incubator shaker with a minimal footprint and up to five independent shaker units
The Kuhner ISF4-X incubator shaker offers large shaking capacity with temperature, humidity and CO2 control all available. The shaker cabinet can incorporate four or even five independent shaking units which are height adjustable. The shaking diameter and speed of each unit can be individually selected. Standard diameters are 12.5, 25 and 50 mm. Other shaking diameters are possible.

Fedegari Lab Division latest innovation is a Lab Glassware Washer that capitalizes the experience done with FOWS-series of washers in the pharmaceutical industry.
The power of steam: a cost-effective cleaning
The new FGW Lab Glassware Washer uses a steam generator to improve washing performances. Steam has an optimized emollient effect on greasy and sticky dirt. In addition, steam is able to access hard-to-reach areas and therefore clean thoroughly. Moreover the use of steam can significantly reduces operating costs: this really eco-friendly solution allows to minimize the need of detergents as well as water consumption, lowering the running costs per cycle.
A conductivity meter placed on the FGW drain is capable to detect the water purity, helping to terminate the process as soon as the desired set-point is reached thus further reducing water and other utilities consumption of the washer.
The cleaning process is constantly supervised: dedicated probes monitoring the temperature of the air/water and of the steam in chamber. Fedegari Glassware Washer has an internal LED lamp that remains operative during the whole cycle: in case of alarm evident signals are displayed by color change.
DESIGN AND TECHNICAL FEAUTURES
The piping, as any other equipment manufactured by Fedegari, has a rigorous sanitary finishing. The FGW glassware washer is equipped with custom-made and modular internal trays, connected to the hydraulic system. The external trolleys are fully compatible with those of the FOB5 autoclave.
