In addition to the built-in control sensor, a secondary temperature sensor is available to measure simulated product temperature. The value measured by the product temperature sensor can be displayed on the screen. It is calibratable, and the upper/lower thresholds of the device's alarm functions are based on this value for safer storage based on real product temperatures.

Power Failure Alarm
In case of a power failure, the built-in battery maintains power for at least twelve hours and immediately triggers an audible and visual alarm. Additional indication of when the power outage began and the maximum temperature reached.
