Waldner low level fume cupboards

Waldner low level fume cupboards

Waldner low level fume cupboards are designed for the safe installation of large or tall experimental set-ups. The low work surface and increased internal height provide more space for laboratory equipment.

Tested in accordance with EN 14175, the fume cupboards help prevent hazardous gases, vapours, aerosols or dust generated inside the workspace from escaping into the laboratory air. They also protect users against chemical splashes and particles released from the workspace.

The fume cupboards can be configured according to the laboratory environment, the work processes and the chemicals used. Their design can also be integrated with the room’s service supply and ventilation system.

For large experimental set-ups

The low working level makes it easier to accommodate taller equipment and more complex experimental set-ups. The H-frame add-on table with its raised perimeter edge helps contain any spilled liquids within the work area.

Large glass panels and LED lighting provide a clearly visible workspace. The two-piece sash also provides convenient access when working with taller equipment.

Configurable for specific applications

• Stoneware, epoxy resin, polypropylene or stainless-steel work surfaces
• Electrical, water, gas and vacuum connections
• Service modules integrated into the side panels
• Integrated sink and attachment points for support rods
• Optional airflow and sash control

General-purpose fume cupboards are not suitable for work involving radioactive substances, microorganisms or open chemical digestion processes. These applications require a specially designed fume cupboard.
