In pathology as well as in the analysis laboratory, ultrasound is now an integral part when it comes to fast diagnostics and high process efficiency. The SONOCOOL now combines the process-accelerating effect of ultrasound with simultaneous cooling of the samples.

In the histological evaluation of samples, e.g. in the field of oncology, bone decalcification is an important process step, because only decalcified samples can be prepared without artefacts for later diagnosis. The previously lengthy process can now be significantly accelerated compared to conventional methods using ultrasound. At the same time, the morphological structure of the specimens is preserved by the integrated cooling. This avoids an inferior specimen and thus a more difficult or impossible diagnosis. The findings are available more quickly.
