The FOB4 Stand-alone Lab Sterilizer is an autoclave that combines excellent performances with overall high quality materials and ease of use.
The FOB4 Lab Sterilizer is suitable for the use in laboratory for many different applications, such as:

DESIGN AND TECHNICAL FEATURES
FOB4 can be designed in two chamber dimensions: 147 liters (FOB4-TS) with single vertical sliding door or 210 liters (FOB4S-TS – FOB4/L TS) with double vertical sliding door for pass-through purposes. The vertically automatic sliding doors are pneumatically activated for space efficiency in laboratory and hospitals.
FOB4 autoclave has internal 316L stainless steel plates fed by steam used both as heat-exchanger system for steam pre-heating and to cool the chamber temperature by means of cold softened water. As an option these plates can be used for drying purposes at the end of the cycle.
Fedegari designs laboratory autoclaves combining operators’ safety as well as equipment performances. Thermal blocking system to prevent door openings in hazardous situations. Temperature probes and pressure transducers ensure constant process monitoring, as well as precision and optimal temperature distribution in the chamber, guaranteeing a high level of safety for the operator and performance and reproducibility of the sterilization process.
FOB series is equipped with DCS20 process controller: 30 cycles easy to customize in a multi-user environment. Large touch-screen color display and interface for remote monitoring via Ethernet control. DCS20 process controller is fully validated and documented.

Heating elements on support tubes radiating freely into the furnace chamber provide for particularly short heating times for these muffle furnaces. Thanks to their robust lightweight refractory brick insulation, they can reach a maximum working temperature of 1300 °C. These muffle furnaces thus represent an interesting alternative to the familiar L(T) ../12 models, when you need a higher application temperature.

Ashing furnace LV ../11 is designed especially for ashing processes to 1050 °C in the laboratory. Applications include determining loss on ignition, ashing food and plastics for subsequent substance analysis. A special fresh-air and exhaust air system ensures that the air is replaced 6 times per minute so that there is always sufficient oxygen for the ashing process. Incoming air passes the furnace heating and is pre-heated to ensure good temperature uniformity.

Chemistry diaphragm pumps of the NT design are an excellent solution for continuous, oil-free pumping of corrosive gases and vapors. The one-stage construction provides the advantageous combination of high pumping speed and low ultimate vacuum down to 70 mbar. All parts in contact with pumped media are made of chemically resistant fluoroplastics. Well-proven PTFE sandwich diaphragms increase reliability and extend operating life. The chemistry vacuum system ME 8C NT +2AK with inlet separator to protect the pump against particles and liquid droplets and outlet separator to collect condensate is a well-proven choice for demanding applications. The eight-cylinder pump ME 16C NT provides a particularly high performance together with a compact design. Accessories such as inlet separator (AK) for protection of the pump and exhaust vapor condenser (EK) for solvent recovery can be mounted on this pump later, if the need arises. Eight-cylinder NT pumps feature quiet operation, smooth and easy to clean surfaces.

The ability to provide both types from a single system results from the combination of ultramodern purification technologies.
