What makes the Sigma 4 16KS refrigerated benchtop centrifuge so attractive?
The Sigma 4 16KS refrigerated benchtop is available with numerous swing-out and fixed-angle rotors as well as various buckets and adapters, including many biosafe configurations.
The extensive range of accessories can accommodate tubes and flasks from 0.2 ml to 750 ml as well as microtiter and deepwell plates.

The swing-out rotors can hold up to 3 litres (4 x 750 ml) or (for example) 16 x 50 ml tubes. The RCF values achievable with the configurations are best-in-class in this centrifuge segment. Highlights in the area of fixed-angle rotors include a 6 x 250 ml rotor with a maximum RCF of 13,131 x g and the ability to centrifuge 50 ml culture tubes at more than 23,000 x g.

DESIGN AND TECHNICAL FEATURES
FOB5 autoclave series has a wide range of chamber volumes and come with both single and double vertical sliding door:
FOB5 series can be designed with a single or double stainless steel sealing flange (BIOSEAL), making it suitable for laboratory risk category L3 and L4 and operating theater. FOB5 Lab Sterilizers have two high-efficiency internal 316L stainless steel plates which can be used as heat-exchanger system for steam preheating, to cool the chamber temperature down by using cold water.
Moreover – as an option – these plates can be used to perform final drying.
FOB5 autoclaves are made of 316L stainless steel as well as pneumatic valves and hydraulic components.
Full and easy accessibility to technical area from the front and lateral side allows service and regular maintenance. External trolleys are fully compatible with FGW Fedegari Glassware Washer Series to assure integration between cleaning and sterilization processes in your laboratory.

Ashing furnace LV ../11 is designed especially for ashing processes to 1050 °C in the laboratory. Applications include determining loss on ignition, ashing food and plastics for subsequent substance analysis. A special fresh-air and exhaust air system ensures that the air is replaced 6 times per minute so that there is always sufficient oxygen for the ashing process. Incoming air passes the furnace heating and is pre-heated to ensure good temperature uniformity.

The lift-upcover for PURA 14 reduces the evaporation of temperature control liquid and saves energy. The rising steam is fed back into the bath. As a result, the temperature control liquid remains in the bath and refill cycles are extended. An additional benefit is that the cover prevents contamination of the samples in the bath. The lift-up cover for PURA 4 made of polycarbonate can be used up to 99.9°C.

As in a biological safety cabinet, the chamber of a Kuhner incubator shaker can also be sterilized with an integrated UV lamp. The lamp is situated to maximise irradiation of the chamber and shaking table. The UV lamp has a clearly marked external switch and when the door is opened, the UV-lighting is automatically switched off.
