In pathology as well as in the analysis laboratory, ultrasound is now an integral part when it comes to fast diagnostics and high process efficiency. The SONOCOOL now combines the process-accelerating effect of ultrasound with simultaneous cooling of the samples.

In the histological evaluation of samples, e.g. in the field of oncology, bone decalcification is an important process step, because only decalcified samples can be prepared without artefacts for later diagnosis. The previously lengthy process can now be significantly accelerated compared to conventional methods using ultrasound. At the same time, the morphological structure of the specimens is preserved by the integrated cooling. This avoids an inferior specimen and thus a more difficult or impossible diagnosis. DESIGN AND TECHNICAL FEATURES
FOB5 autoclave series has a wide range of chamber volumes and come with both single and double vertical sliding door:
FOB5 series can be designed with a single or double stainless steel sealing flange (BIOSEAL), making it suitable for laboratory risk category L3 and L4 and operating theater. FOB5 Lab Sterilizers have two high-efficiency internal 316L stainless steel plates which can be used as heat-exchanger system for steam preheating, to cool the chamber temperature down by using cold water.
Moreover – as an option – these plates can be used to perform final drying.
FOB5 autoclaves are made of 316L stainless steel as well as pneumatic valves and hydraulic components.

Ashing furnace LV ../11 is designed especially for ashing processes to 1050 °C in the laboratory. Applications include determining loss on ignition, ashing food and plastics for subsequent substance analysis. A special fresh-air and exhaust air system ensures that the air is replaced 6 times per minute so that there is always sufficient oxygen for the ashing process. Incoming air passes the furnace heating and is pre-heated to ensure good temperature uniformity.
