It is an extendable rack system with integrated shaking units made of stainless steel. Size and configuration can be altered at any given time. Flexible, integrated system Up to four shaking units (SS-X) can be incorporated into a single rack. The robustly built rack system ensures the shaking units run quietly. The rack system is designed and constructed for maximum flexibility, can be adapted to fit almost any room, and is easily extended. The configuration of the shaking units can be altered at any time with little effort. Each shaking unit is fitted with a speed controller and operates independently. Users are able to choose either orbital or linear motion as well as a suitable shaking diameter for each unit. % Kühner Dual table upper part ISF1-Z(C) The dual table is an easy and economical way of doubling the shaking capacity. The dual shaking table consists of two levels. Each level will accept an F size tray. The lower level of the dual table is the standard Z-table or a pull-out table. Combining the pull-out feature (only for the lower platform) with the dual-level function, allows faster access to the bottom level for easy handling and better ergonomics. The distance between the two levels of the dual table is adjustable. However, with the dual table the shaking speed is limited.	% Kühner EPFL table 5 clamps (Z) This table accepts up to five tube holders, each with a capacity of 24 x 50ml tubes. Each tube holder has its own clamp handle allowing it to be easily taken out of the incubator shaker and put on a clean bench while the other tubes keep on shaking. It’s also possible to shake microtiter plates on the EPFL-table, using Duetz 4-place coverclamps. If you have a Kuhner F-size tray (800 x 420mm), you can also clamp that on the table instead of individual holders.	% Kühner Black window (opaque) LT-X Available for light sensitive medium or organisms. The lamp is situated to maximise irradiation of the chamber and shaking table. The UV lamp has a clearly marked external switch and when the door is opened, the UV-lighting is automatically switched off.

The control module allows full programming of night/day cycles and variable light intensity.	% Kühner O₂ controller LT-X A reliable control of O₂ is essential for cultivating cells (proliferation and metabolism of stem cells) and microorganisms with low/no oxygen demand. The O₂ controller reduces the O₂ level from ambient (20.95% at dry air; normoxia) to approximately 0% O₂ (hypoxic). A digital PID controller adjusts the N2 flow rate to maintain the desired O₂ value.
