The shaker platform with a flat rubber mat 2000 included in the scope of delivery increases the platform capacity area by 71.5% compared to the Hei-SHAKE Reciprocating Core.

With a stroke of 36 mm and a speed range of 1 – 300 rpm, proper separation of the samples is ensured. Your applications can be carried out in continuous operation or by means of a timer. The integrated timer function (1 min to 999 h 59 min) and RS 232 interface enable unsupervised operation, so that you can attend to other tasks without worry. The device activation and partly automated processes can be carried out remotely via the connection to the PC or via server-based software, e.g., Hei-PROCESS. In addition, the automatic restart, e.g., after power failures, can be set with the user-friendly menu structure.

Heidolph Multi Reax test tube shaker
The versatile model with a 3 mm shaking orbit

A high sample throughput is one of the daily challenges that analytical laboratories have to meet. Often several analyses have to be prepared simultaneously. To simplify these processes and the general workflow, a multi-vortexer has been developed.

It can accommodate between 12 (16-32 mm diameter) and 26 (10-16 mm diameter) tubes (Falcon tubes or Greiner tubes). Reaction vessels with snap-on lids ("Eppis" or Eppendorf cups) are also safely fixed. The 3 mm shaking orbit and a speed control between 150 and 2,000 rpm guarantee excellent mixing results.

The integrated timer (up to 999 minutes) enables the automatic termination of the shaking function. After the time has expired, a signal tone is emitted. In this way, you can be sure that your work process will proceed continuously, as several tasks have to be fulfilled at the same time.

The LS-Z comes with three functional options: benchtop only/stand-alone, combinable with incubators from other manufacturers, or combined with the new Kuhner Kelvin+ incubator for temperature control. The LS-Z shaker will accept loads up to 25 kg and the shaking diameter can be adjusted at any time. There are three standard shaking diameters (12.5, 25 and 50 mm) with others available on request. The LS-Z shaker unit tolerates an ambient relative humidity of up to 90% and features a detachable control unit and power cube. Therefore, the LS-Z is extremely flexible regarding its installation site: it can be placed in any lab incubator or temperature controlled room.
