BINDER KBF series climate chambers with humidity control, ICH light module, and LQC system provide a complete solution for ICH Q1B-compliant photostability testing. % Binder KBF 260 Photostability Climat Chamber with ICH light modul with light-dose control (LQC) The Binder KBF 260 standard climate chamber offers a reliable solution for photostability testing in accordance with the ICH Q1B guideline. The unit can be easily equipped with the ICH LQC light module, which provides UV and visible (VIS) light to create a standardized test environment. The ICH LQC module also includes a VIS and a UVA sensor for precise light dose control. The lighting switches off automatically once the programmed light dose reaches the desired value, ensuring that the test is carried out under fully controlled conditions. The system is designed so that the photostability test can be completed within three days while minimizing thermal impact on the test material. The light dose must be increased by a factor of 1.5 for photostability tests on flat test objects, such as printed products. The ICH light module is also connected to the climate chamber via a data cable and the light control runs via the program controller. The light dose to be achieved for the two types of light is entered in the controller (typically 1.2 Mlx h visible light and 200 Wh/m² UVA) and the light cassettes are automatically switched off individually once the dose has been reached.
