Kühner SB10-X bioreactor
The Kühner SB10-X is a benchtop bioreactor system for cultivating human, mammalian, and plant cells in single-use bags. It consists of six modules and offers a working volume of 4 to 12 liters. The system allows fast and simple setup, easy scale-up, and online pH and dissolved oxygen (DO) measurement and control. It features orbital motion for efficient liquid mixing with low shear forces, suitable for microcarrier cultivation. The SB10-X bridges the gap between single-use flasks and larger bioreactors, enabling trouble-free scale-up. It includes integrated heating, pH/DO measurement, peristaltic pumps for fluid management, gas mixing capabilities, and a user-friendly control unit with software for monitoring and controlling bioprocess parameters.
